Once all the new soil was laid, including on the terraces, planting was started. There was enough soil for two large areas in front of the terracing, so an avenue of trees was planted leading up to it, and then trees were planted around the edges of the two areas. Grass and vegetable seeds were bought in the local market in Puente Piedra. A small vegetable plot was laid out in one corner, and the lettuce and asparagus seeds planted, slightly delayed due to the lack of water one day. Every day one of the children would water all of the plants. The grass has started to grow and benches have been built under the parasol.
