Based in West Sussex, Fred White not only breeds llamas and alpacas in the UK, but offers veterinary advice both for zoos and private owners, keeps llamas and alpacas for their fibre, shows them at a wide range of events, country fairs etc in the South East, and supports a number of Peruvian cultural and musical events in London and elseewhere. Additionally he has a well researched collection of authentic traditional Peruvian costumes which he exhibits, including 'llama -related' displays.

West Ridge Camelids have accompanied the start of recent Project Peru Guildford-Paris sponsored bike rides, featured in school 'Peru-day' events, attended a wedding for which Project Peru has been catering, accompanied various Project Peru Andean music events; llamas have been 'guest of honour' at a number of our other events.
