Ancon

In the 19th and early 20th century this was a smart seaside resort. It still has a mix of elegant 19th century houses with wooden balconies, and modern apartment blocks, with beaches, a fishing harbour, fish restaurants, and pelicans. The children from the refuge frequently go to the beach at Ancon.
